PROVIDENCE, RI – Emmy Award-winning journalist Anaridis Rodriguez is joining The Perry Group as a Senior Account Executive, the agency’s president announced today. Rodriguez will become the first bilingual team member of a growing public relations, public affairs, and marketing agency, with her experience expanding the firm’s digital storytelling capabilities.

Rodriguez is a highly skilled media professional with a demonstrated history of working as a multimedia journalist. Most recently, she spent five years in Boston anchoring and reporting for WBZ-TV, a CBS Owned and Operated station. In her role at CBS News Boston, she contributed to daily live programming of developing news, reported on the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 presidential election, and was part of the team recognized with an Emmy for its continuing coverage of the shooting of Red Sox legend David Ortiz in the Dominican Republic. Her experience spans coverage of a range of issues, often focused on racial justice and community reporting.

Rodriguez was born in the Dominican Republic and immigrated with her family to Providence at the age of 12. She’s a proud graduate of Classical High School, Rhode Island College, and Emerson College.
